John
Campbell has a B. S. in Economics and Political Science from Iowa State U., and
a Masters in Statistics and PhD. in Econometrics and Finance from the University
of Oklahoma. He has worked in
industry for General Electric, Equitable Life Assurance, and Arco, building
statistical and optimization models to evaluate worldwide investment
opportunities. He also has taught
at the University of Houston, University of Chicago, DePaul University, and
Florida State University, teaching courses in statistical applications for
investments and corporate finance.
His research includes articles in academic journals the Journal of
Political Economy, Econometrica, and Review of
Economics and Statistics, as well as over 40 industrial/technical journals. He ran John M. Campbell & Co., one
of the worlds leading training organization in Gas Conditioning and Processing,
for 12 years before retiring to start International Risk Management, a leading
consulting and training firm in the areas of risk assessment and
management. Dr. Campbell has been
teaching and practicing risk assessment, mitigation and management tools and
processes for over 30 years.
